Section - 1 - Project Overview
This section offers a comprehensive overview of your scheduled project, detailing key information such as day rates, location, and current dates. Please note that it is essential for you to remain on the rig until the client's full scope of work (SOW) has been completed. To ensure clarity, Subseaquence support will coordinate inbound return flights and logistics only after we have received formal confirmation from a client representative. Once this agreement is in place, we kindly ask that the client employee sends an email to support@subseaquence.com to confirm the demobilization date. Thank you for your cooperation.

4. Quarantine Rate (if applicable): USD 425
Only applicable if agreed by the client. This covers any quarantine required due to a COVID outbreak on the rig (whether directly infected or caused due to close contact) and any quarantine required after being mobilised before joining the rig.

Below are the travel documents required for your scheduled project. Please check and download each form before your departure so it can be accessible on all your devices. This will allow you to view them even without Wi-Fi access.

Below are the questions and answers to most of your remaining questions. By accepting this project, you are accepting our terms and conditions below. If any questions or answers are not mentioned within the FAQ, please refer to the ‘Terms and Conditions’.

Documents to Take on the Job:
Hard Copies of Documents:
Print and carry hard copies of all documents from your Contractor Zone.
Store them in a plastic-sleeved folder to avoid any issues with connectivity.
Seaman’s Book (if applicable):
If you have a valid Seaman’s Book, take it with you. This is especially important due to COVID-related exemptions.
If you don’t have one, apply for it ASAP.
COVID Vaccination Certificates:
While most countries don’t request COVID certificates anymore, some still do. Carry your vaccination certificates either physically or digitally (on your phone).
If asked to submit proof of double vaccination, send the NHS PDF (downloaded version with QR code and vaccination dates).
Expenses and Claims:
Claimable Expenses:
Only travel and other specified expenses are claimable.
For airport delays (5+ hours), lounge access can be claimed, but only the entrance fee.
Travel to/from local airport is only claimable if outside a 25-mile radius (submit mileage or receipts).
Airport parking is not claimable.
Food and beverages are not claimable.
Ensure you have proof of purchase for all claims, as unverified claims will not be reimbursed.
Expenses Not Claimable:
Personal travel upgrades are at your own expense.
Negligence-related costs (e.g., missed flights) are non-claimable.
Airport parking and personal travel are not reimbursable.
Required Forms at the End of Your Hitch:
Timesheet:
Complete the Timesheet document, ensuring it’s signed by a client representative.
Appraisal:
Fill out the Appraisal form and get it signed off by a client representative.
Expense Claim Form:
Complete and submit the Expense Claim Form along with the signed timesheet within 48 hours of project completion. Late submissions will not be reimbursed.
In Case of an Accident:
Report the Accident:
Inform the most Senior Subseaquence staff member at your location.
Follow the client’s accident procedure, as they likely have a protocol in place.
Refer to your Accident Insurance Document for further instructions.
Medical Evacuation:
If needed, ensure client approval for any insurance actions or evacuation plans.
PPE and Equipment:
PPE Provided by Subseaquence:
Subseaquence provides coveralls and a safety helmet.
Other PPE (e.g., boots, gloves, glasses) is your responsibility.
PPE Availability:
If short notice is given for project start, Subseaquence might not be able to provide all required PPE in time.
Salary and Certifications:
Salary:
You will receive your salary within 10 working days after demobilizing from the project.
Certificates:
Subseaquence does not pay for offshore medicals, survival certificates, or well control certifications. It’s your responsibility to ensure these are up to date.
